WASHINGTON, June 25, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The American Council of Cannabis Medicine (ACCM) announced today that it supports two key initiatives that will further accelerate the access, research and professionalization of medical cannabis. The National Medcann Index and the Programs for Elevated States, in collaboration with ACCM’s “Yes We Cann!” Initiative in support of this important endeavor.
ACCM’s “Yes We Cann!” Program advocates the professionalism of medical cannabis on all fronts. We advocate clinical research and access at the federal level and support similar initiatives at the state level.
“Yes We Cann! Program promotes and supports advocacy at all levels of medical cannabis. While most are recognized as support programs for access to federal law and professional research, it is much more.” says Glen Caroline, CAO at WAB Strategic and ACCM Outreach Committee Co-Chair and Supporters, our efforts will be greatly enhanced. “
The National Medcann Index uses solid methodology and research conducted by a Blue Ribbon Advisory Board of medical, research, legislative and industrial experts. As is common with other health-focused indices, MedCann will provide a valuable scorecard and rankings to advance professional medical cannabis.
“Across health care, indices measure everything from heart health to system standards. These types of reviews and rankings determine almost every aspect of medicine today.” Says Dr. Dale Paulson, CEO of Allegiance Research and Medcann Index Lead Director, “Evaluating government medical cannabis programs will provide a scientific avenue for improvement.”
“The MedCann project has been in development for three years. The extensive effort is indeed impressive! ASCM’s commitment to professional standards makes this useful and we are delighted to be a main sponsor of the project, ”says, Garnett Meador, EPP / CEO of the American Society of Cannabis Medicine. “Our physicians are committed to the professional practice and data-driven science of cannabinoid medicine to advance public health. They are excited to participate on the Index’s bodies and support its ultimate purpose of improving patient outcomes.”
ACCM’s Elevated States Program starts in Utah, Pennsylvania and Florida next month under the “Yes We Cann!” Banner that holds the vertical for medical cannabis in each state and provides full public and medical education. Promote awareness / professionalization.
“ACCM is amazing. “Yes We Cann!” – Endorsement is the industry standard, “said Steve Bate, CEO of ComCan Healthcare and co-chair of the ACCM Veterans Affairs Committee. “Elevated states connect the stakeholders (including our veterinarians). Only ACCM could run such a program to help as many people as possible with education. ”
“We are happy with ACCM’s educational programs.” says Lance Davis, Vice President of Government Affairs at CannaScripts, Inc. “The” Yes We Cann! – The “Elevated State” program is very exciting to see. ACCM alignments help a lot of people. “
