Crain’s Detroit business is realigning its cannabis coverage as it becomes one of Michigan’s top growth industries.
Crain’s reporter Annalize Frank added responsibility for reporting on the cannabis business to her ongoing coverage of the city of Detroit. Frank takes on the cannabis beat from Dustin Walsh, who is now in charge of healthcare full time.
Frank has been reporting for Crains Detroit Business for more than four years, initially as a general assignment reporter and later as a coverage for the city of Detroit. She will continue to report on the city government and its impact on the economy.
“Cannabis is an industry that will shape our state’s economy for years to come,” said Editor-in-Chief Kelley Root. “We aim to handle it closely as the industry matures and evolves.”
Frank previously worked as an editor for the English-language Vietnam News in Hanoi. She is a graduate of Northwestern University outside of Chicago.
